Welcome To Playing With Fire Studio

In 2016, I got the itch to explore jewelry-making and attended classes at “Benches on Division” Studio, which was fortunately on my way home from work! After 3 years of novice metalsmithing, I fell in love with enameling, an artwork of infinite color combinations and designs, and I love sharing them with friends and family as well as selling them at art galleries.

In November of 2017, I decided to build a studio in my home so I could devote more time to my artwork.

After some time, I dreamt of moving somewhere warm with a large studio space looking out into the woods. Since then I moved my studio from my basement to my sunny porch. Now I look out to my bamboo forest and birds, occasionally catching sight of chipmunks or even an opossum. Okay, it’s not California, but it’s a close second!

Shortly after, I attended a workshop at the Carpenter Art Enamel Foundation. I adored the journey as well as experimenting with different techniques. When I found myself wanting more flexibility in my jewelry, I re-engineered my studio for flame-working.
